Technical inspections of heavy vehicles are carried out in a loaded state, because the braking system of heavy vehicles is designed and calibrated for operation under load. If a vehicle arrives for inspection unloaded, the brake test may not produce valid results, and the vehicle may fail even if its brakes are in perfect condition.
STK City therefore offers a vehicle loading service directly on-site before the technical inspection.
How the loading process works
Loading is carried out using our own equipment directly at the STK City facility at Rožňavská 18541/2 in Bratislava-Ružinov. Before the inspection, the vehicle is loaded to the required weight so that the brake test is performed under conditions corresponding to normal operation.
This service is intended for trucks over 3.5 t that arrive for technical inspection without cargo.
